Canadian Stem Cell Foundation
The Canadian Stem Cell Foundation (CSCF) is an independent, non-profit organization that champions stem cell science for the health of humanity, and builds Canada's role as a stem cell leader. Their website is a central hub for all people interested in stem cell science and research.
Their previous website was Flash based. Although it won many awards, they found it difficult to maintain and to update. However, the new Canadian Stem Cell Foundation website is built with the Joomla CMS. The entire website is fully managed and maintained by the client.
Additional Details
Multi-Languages (English / French)
As they are a Canadian organization, the site is available in both English and French languages. Each language has its own independent menu system. Which means; each language can house different content - unique to the current language.
Blog
The new site contains the blog within Joomla. Previously, the client would have to log in to a separate CMS to add/edit blog entries. Now the process of content editing is much more streamlined for the client.
